I have been working as Assistant Professor and Head of Department of Park Recreation and Wildlife Management at the Institute of Forestry (IOF), Tribhuvan University (TU), Nepal. I have been teaching and supervising students for BSc Forestry, MSc Forestry and MSc Wildlife Management & Biodiversity Conservation. Before joining to the IOF/TU, I have worked for National Trust for Nature Conservation (NTNC) as Conservation Officer. I am interested in nature conservation with focusing human wildlife coexistence, tiger and its prey base ecology. And I have a special interest in predator-prey relationships. So that, my upcoming project will focus on Evidence-based Park Management: the facts behind tiger and ungulate counting focusing of improved counting of tiger and prey base to get a better understanding of their relationship in Bardia National Park, Nepal. I have been completed Master’s Degree in biodiversity & environmental management in a collaborative program between the University of Bergen, Norway and Tribhuvan University, Nepal.
